Permitted uses
Identity verification, fraud prevention, age assurance, consented access control and similar uses where people have been informed and, where required, have consented.
Prohibited uses
- Covert or mass surveillance, or tracking people without their knowledge.
- Untargeted scraping of facial images from the internet or CCTV to build databases.
- Emotion recognition in workplaces or educational institutions.
- Inferring race, ethnicity, political views, religion, sexual orientation or health from faces.
- Real-time remote identification of people in publicly accessible spaces.
- Any use that unlawfully discriminates or violates human rights.
- Processing images of children without verifiable parental consent where required.
- Reselling the API or attempting to extract our models.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy. Report misuse to legal@sim-sim.io.
